New Rule 2026

The Nusuk Framework — 'No Booking, No Visa'

From 2025, Saudi Arabia introduced a major change under the Nusuk digital platform. Understanding these rules is essential before you apply:

Nusuk Mandatory Rules

  • Hotel reservations in Makkah and Madinah must be confirmed via the Nusuk app before visa issuance
  • Transport from the airport to your hotel must also be pre-booked through Nusuk
  • Visa validity is 1 month from the date of issue — not from arrival date
  • After arrival, you may stay for up to 3 months
Example: If your visa is issued on 1st July 2026, you must enter Saudi Arabia before 1st August 2026. After arrival, you may stay until 1st October 2026.
